I'm never sure of my inspiration for abstract paintings.
I play around with line, shapes and colour until something emerges which I am happy with.
This process can take quite a while, but it is fun and very exciting.
Naming is usually achieved by a friend or colleague telling me what it looks like. An Italian friend said this looked like Italy to her, hence the name Italia.
