Row of Cottages (2026) Original Mixed-media Painting by Mia Hague

Painted from a photograph I took in May 2026 whilst in Ireland with my sister. I love to paint old cottages and crofts. Usually celtic.

For this one I used oil paint and oil pastel.

It is a small painting on canvas paper, in a simple white wood frame, ready to hang.

Signed with my initials in the bottom right, and on the back.

I've taken real photographs of the work, not mock ups, so you can really see what you're getting. I've even got my grubby little hand in one of them. I love making and framing each and every one.

My work isn't polished. It's rustic and wild and I hope to create you a whole piece of original finished art, to add to that nook or empty wall space. Something different and curious that makes you feel something.
