This beautiful young Ukrainian woman came to the UK shortly after the beginning of war in her home country. She brought an artificial floral headdress to the sitting, it was an inspired addition, adding a lovely pop of colour. She has an unfinished tattoo on her back, she had to flee before her Ukrainian tattooist could finish it.
This piece took many hours due to it's scale and detail, but I do love detail...the tattoos, the flowers.
Framed with a simple black wood tray frame.
