In the pasture
The almond pink light,
Scattered pale mauve and silver blue clouds,
Muted deep greens,
As I walked along the footpath,
The soft and colourful grasses.
Words and expression,
Original impressionist watercolour , inspired by the Charlton Musgrove landscape in Somerset. I have fallen in love with this area just over the border of North Dorset. I will explore it more for my future landscape paintings.
