Original artwork description
Painting worked from free improvisation. Action painting with music by Miles Davis.
Work inspired by the film Perfect Days by Win Wenders. The beauty of small things, attention to detail, a smile.
Developed through multiple layers. The new covers the old but there is always a trace. Gestural and intuitive painting where drawings, stains and marks fit together little by little, without forcing.
A game of contrasts. Nature, the old and the urban merge in this painting full of symbolism, which basically speaks of the ephemeral, of the uncertainty and fragility that surrounds us, but also of the magic and greatness of any form of life.
Materials used:
acrylic, gesso, pigments, charcoal, wax, graphite, pastel, tempera
Details:
- Mixed-media painting on Canvas
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 200 x 120 x 3.5cm (unframed) / 200 x 120cm (actual image size)
