It's hard to define what inspires me as I think it's more in how you look and interpret what you see. I have always been drawn to anything old that has a history and mystery to it. Black and white, tatty photographs make my head buzz with questions, they were a split second in a time gone by, but who is the person in the picture? where were they? what happened just prior or after this was taken? were they happy? etc. It's like reading a story where you get to make up your own ending. I hope to invoke questions, feeling, a memory, inspire or just catch someone's eye so they take another look....
