In Harmony (2025)Linocut by Mariann Johansen-Ellis

The forest to me is where harmony lives, your shoulders come down and your breaths get deeper, and calm fills your soul!

This is a monoprint, that is, there is only one looking like this, and I have used my rollers and ink in a very painterly way, creating shifts in color and using tones that are very calm. The piece of lino are all separate and ink them up, and assemble them on my printmaking press before taking the paper through the press, transferring the ink to the paper.
The piece of white heavy weight printmaking paper measures 50 cm x 70 cm
(20" x 27") with just enough paper around to frame it.
I have signed the print and numbered it 1/1.
