Original artwork description:
This is a scene from a nearby field, in quite a untamed part of Western France. I liked the interplay of light over the wild grasses and flowers, contrasting to the deeper shadows of the trees. It's painted in an impressionist style on canvasboard, and left a good time to dry before being varnished.
