This painting was done last summer, outdoors, in the north of Spain where I have spent all my summer holidays since I was little for me it is a bit like a self-portrait
They say that in portraits there is more of the painter than of the sitter even when we do a still life or a landscape they reflect human reality from the outside in inevitably that of the painter who represents us all The ability to convey this is the goal of a artist that someone feels moved when seeing themselves reflected feeling that they are not alone however subjective it may seem it is so ingrained in human beings that artistic representations have always accompanied us throughout our history.
