In this piece, I wanted to tell a dream: the dream of the lotus—a flower that rises from the mud yet blossoms in the light. The female face emerging from the composition carries the silent strength of someone who has walked through darkness and now looks ahead with awareness and grace.
The strokes of color, almost like luminous scars, are emotions surfacing—traces of a life fully lived. The golden background symbolizes the sacredness of our inner world, a light that doesn’t come from outside, but from within. It is an invitation to reconnect with our truest selves, where beauty and pain coexist—just like in the lotus.
