This original winter landscape oil painting was inspired by a trip to a nearby village in my hometown region of Ukraine. The cold river flowing through the snowy landscape created beautiful natural patterns that almost felt abstract, blending soft winter colors with textured reflections and light.

Through loose brushwork and a muted winter palette, I wanted to capture the calm atmosphere and quiet beauty of the countryside during the cold season. The contrast between snow, water, and bare nature gives the painting a peaceful and contemplative mood, inviting the viewer to experience the stillness of winter.
