Using acrylics, I've depicted a human figure caught in a tireless dance between the bold, engulfing abyss of dark colors and the powerful surge of reds, symbolizing passion and conflict that resides within us. This piece invites viewers into a deeper reflection on the complexities of human emotions and the places between our known and unknown selves. It's a vivid reminder of our inner battles and the raw beauty that emerges from acknowledging them.
This is an acrylic semi-abstract figurative painting on a textured stretched canvas. It is part of a cycle about the myth of Icarus and was included in a solo exhibition titled "Directions Beyond...
