"I Love You but You Drive Me Crazy" is a powerful, expressive abstract painting dominated by deep red, dark grey, soft pink, and subtle orange. Measuring 200 x 140 cm it's an extra large abstract statement piece; created with mixed acrylic techniques on raw canvas, the work radiates emotional tension and physical presence.

It was the first piece I painted in my newly organised studio — and it gave me a hard time. The bold colours felt intense and almost too harsh at first, but through many layers and late-stage blending, they began to dissolve into one another, creating a rich, textured surface full of movement and depth. The raw canvas remains visible in some areas and at the edges, preserving the authenticity of the process and enhancing the tactile quality of the work.

This contemporary abstract artwork is ideal for collectors seeking a bold statement piece with emotional intensity, expressive colour and brushwork, and a commanding spatial presence. It speaks to the push and pull of passion and resistance — exactly as the title suggests.
