This painting explores the fragile territory between memory, identity, and emotional experience.

At the center stands an androgynous figure whose body appears simultaneously vulnerable and resilient. The distorted anatomy is not intended as a representation of physical reality, but as a metaphorical landscape where sensation, memory, and perception converge.

Throughout the composition, symbolic elements create an open narrative: split pomegranates evoke fertility, loss, sacrifice, and renewal; the solitary eye suggests witnessing and inner vision; the faint inscription “I do not remember, yet I feel” introduces the central paradox of the work. What has been forgotten intellectually remains present emotionally

Materials used:

Professional Grade Oils, Acrylics, and Acrylic Modeling Paste on stretched canvas. This mixed media approach combines the fast-drying structural properties of acrylic paste with the rich, luminous finish of oils.
