This is a scene I sketched from a hide at RSPB Minsmere on the Suffolk coast in the UK. It features a marsh harrier (high) and a bittern (low). I used the reduction method to create this lino print, where one piece of lino is used and the ink is applied in layers with more lino being carved in between each layer.
All of my prints are original linocuts and are handmade by me. Because they are handmade, prints inevitably have minuscule differences...part of the charm of being made by a person and not a machine!
I have used Lawrence oil-based relief printing inks and Hereford relief paper, 145gsm. I use a BlueBoy printing press.
Prints will be sent to you unframed, protected with cellophane in a re-enforced padded envelope on a Special Delivery service with the Post Office.
