A framed oil painting on canvas panel. 30 x 30 cm (12 x 12 ins) unframed. 37 x 37 cm (14.5 x 14.5 ins) framed.
The cliffs at Hunstanton are on the east coast but because the coastline curves round, in the summer the sun sets out to sea bathing the russet coloured cliffs and the sand in an orange glow. I didn't realise this until I stayed overnight because usually we left with all the picnic gear well before sunset.
