Artwork description
The Hummingbird sculpture was commissioned by a US developer, as one of two sculptures to be placed outside their building in Seattle. It was intended to compliment a large wall painting of cherry blossom, and the original Foundry Bronze Hummingbird was a bronze colour feeding from bright pink flowers.
This sculpture was a real joy to make, Hummingbirds are such beautiful creatures and I loved researching them and choosing the pose to compliment their delicacy and their dynamism.
This bronze Hummingbird statue bears Tanya’s signature and unique edition number. Your casting of the Hummingbird sculpture will be personally approved and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
10% of the proceeds from this bronze wildlife sculpture support the ‘David Shepherd Wildlife Trust’ animal charity.
