"Heat and Cold" is part of my exploration of the human body as a landscape of emotions and transformation.
This work was inspired by the energy of spring — the moment when nature begins to awaken after stillness. Just as the earth slowly warms and new life emerges, the human body also carries its own cycles of renewal and inner change.
The figure folds into itself in a quiet, intimate gesture, holding both warmth and vulnerability. The contrast between warm and cool tones reflects this delicate balance: between cold and heat, rest and movement, the old self and the one that is beginning to emerge.
For me, spring is not only a season in nature but also an inner process. It is a time of subtle transformation, when both the world around us and the emotional landscape within us begin to shift and open.
