Hope Valley Landscape.
On holiday, sitting on a hillside outside the Blue John mines in Derbyshire waiting for my family I did a sketch or two and took a big handful of photos. I didn't want to go down the mines preferring the fresh air and sunshine. So I've painted this with very sunshiny colours!
Measures 96 x 60 x 4 cm (38 x 24 x 1.4 inches) Oil paints on stretched canvas. The design is carried over the side so no need to frame.
