There is a specific moment in late afternoon when a garden dissolves into a haze of gold and warmth; that is what I captured in "Honeyglow Grove." At an impressive 170x110cm, this piece is an invitation to step out of your daily routine and into a sunlit sanctuary. I painted this using my signature semi-abstract style, layering washes of light colour with thick, tactile impasto to build a landscape that feels deep and breathable.
I allowed the paint to drip and wander, embracing the "happy accidents" that make an original artwork truly unique. These layers reveal more of themselves over time, shifting as the light in your room changes. This isn't just a painting of a garden; it is a capture of a feeling. It is bold, expansive, and full of life, ready to transform a space with its radiance.
