That forecast sums up this original oil painting of a trawler heading back after fishing in some severe weather. Registered in Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides fishing boats like this one were designed and built to withstand the severest of weather. Not earning money if stuck in the harbour - out to sea they would go, often out fishing for a week at a time in all weathers.
