This mixed media piece is a deeply layered exploration of memory, belonging, and emotional warmth. Dominated by rich, warm reds—ranging from earthy terracotta to deep crimson—the painting evokes a sense of comfort and introspection. The surface is textured with a tactile complexity: scraped paint, writing and translucent washes.

Handwritten text weaves through the layers, partially obscured and revealed like fragments of a journal or lyrics remembered in passing. These words, inspired by the soulful melancholy of *Home Again*, speak to the longing for return—not just to a place, but to a feeling, a self, a moment in time.
