Original artwork description
An early Summer walk along the coastal path near West Pentire took us to Holywell Bay. The top of the cliffs were awash with soft pink thrift and a pale yellow birds-foot-trefoil.
The sky was threatening a downpour but we were lucky and it never arrived.
This painting aims to capture the layers of pastel colours in the clifftop against the deep green blue of the sea. It is supplied rolled.
