She’s a beauty so I needed to paint her. Built in the late 30s this court house is the iconic building of Nevada City. A quaint and historic place in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I used vivid colors to represent the art Deco style and added some fun buildings and foliage in keeping with Impressionism. I purposely used primary colors as Van Gough used also.
