This is a picturesque view I painted from sand pond looking across Sardine lake and the Lakes basin. The Sierra Buttes are of rock in hues of purple, lavender and rose. I have been hiking and painting this entire area for over thirty years and never tire of the majestic views in this Sierra Nevada mountain range.
