'Petrified' - Fear; Fossilised; Scared Stiff; Solidified...
This figurative sculpture has been created from one 12" vinyl music record - nothing has been added to the original circular material, nor removed. The label has been retained and matte varnished. Mounted on a mahogany block (16 x 6.5 x 12cm) with vinyl record detail.
Seona's fine art practice lies in her interest in the human body, as well geology (she resides near James Hutton's Unconformity - Siccar Point - of historical geological importance), through contrasting materials and shapes.
**Due to the nature of the varying sizes of works when packaged, if postage has been overcharged then a partial refund will be given.
