“Her favourite toy” tells the story of a girl who close herself in her magic world (her bedroom?) to play with her favourite toy. I used a robot-lamp which I have in my studio as a sample for the toy in the painting. I put it under a bright light and painted it very realistic. The environment is a very simple and geometric blue room for which I used Indigo blue and Emerald green colours. The girl is painted in a fast but very realistic style. She lays in the dark and add a touch of mystery to the atmosphere of the artwork.
“Her favourite toy” is ready to hang and brilliantly stands out on a bright monochrome wall. The linen canvas is painted on the sides and it is signed on the front and back.
