Heavenly Light (2019)Oil painting

I took the reference photo for this painting while visiting Bruges, Belgium several years ago. Strong light and shadow in the sanctuary really drew me into the scene. I enjoy trying to capture the light effect of a scene or the reference photo.

My materials include artist oils and an oil primed linen panel. The painting measures 12" x 9" or 30 x 23 centimeters. A professional camera was used to ensure the image is as close to the actual painting colors as I can get. I varnished the painting to protect and preserve the paint surface. High quality frames are important to the overall effect of each painting. So that is what I used, and I attached hanger wire so the painting will be ready to hang when you open the box. The frame is black with warm undertones and an antique gold filet. I think you will be pleased.
