This watercolor series is dedicated to birds of prey native to Ukraine — powerful and fascinating representatives of the wild natural world. Inspired by species such as falcons, eagles, and hawks, these portraits focus on their presence, sharp gaze, and quiet strength. Through careful observation and layered watercolor techniques, I aim to capture not only anatomical accuracy but also the individuality of each bird.
Birds of prey have long symbolized freedom, resilience, and balance in nature.
