- Have you ever thought ?
Original artwork description
The full title is 'Have you ever thought there might be something out there?' but Artfinder doesn't like long titles - I don't know why.
This was one of the paintings that I first noticed with a serious drying problem. It has been examined and tested by the makers of my paint and they cannot explain the phenomenon either. In one sense this makes it an interesting work and I have to say that with the passage of time the problem could be very slowly resolving itself though I'm not holding my breath. Whether you feel this problem damages or enhances the work is a moot point.
NB. The price is low to reflect that.
Materials used:
Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
Details:
- Oil painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 54 x 37 x 2cm (unframed)
- Ready to hang
- Signed on the back
- Style: Expressive and gestural
- Subject: People and portraits
