The Basque wine harvest celebration: energy, earth and the ancient ritual of the harvest. Vertical streams of green, orange, gold and ochre pour down the canvas like vines heavy with fruit — dense, layered, alive with the warmth of late summer. Flashes of white break through like sunlight caught between leaves, while deep blues and purples pulse beneath the surface like the earth itself, cool and patient under the richness above.
The painting doesn't depict the harvest so much as inhabit it — the physical rhythm of hands moving through vines, the smell of sun-warmed earth, the collective energy of a ritual repeated for generations along the Basque coast. Color becomes abundance; texture becomes memory.
