Harvest Light captures the serene atmosphere of the harvest season — a landscape where light, colour, and texture merge to evoke the essence of ripened vineyards. The painting reflects the warmth and abundance of this time, translating it into an abstract composition that suggests the rhythm of the land and the glow of early autumn.

Created with mixed media on canvas, the lower section is built through successive layers of colour and texture. Pieces of paper soaked in paint were pressed onto the surface, while small dots of pigment were applied and absorbed with a sponge to create depth and subtle variation. The process was intuitive yet carefully controlled, allowing organic forms to emerge naturally. Occasional touches of gold leaf add shimmering reflections, recalling sunlight over the vines.

Balancing abstraction and emotion, this painting invites the viewer to contemplate the quiet splendour of nature — a moment when the season’s light becomes memory.

My painting is rooted in the observation of light as a trigger for memory and perception. I am interested in those fleeting moments when an ordinary image — a shadow, a surface,... Read more
