Depiction of the foreshore of the Hamble River at Hamble-le Rice in Hampshire at low tide as the sun sets . One of a series of paintings based on my observations at the riverside as the light changed. ( Small homage to Monet !) Created using palette knife softened with brush and incorporating subtle use of reflective paints to capture the light .

A small and affordable original painting that I hope still captures the special sense of place.

Hamble is a host to a number of good pubs. My recommendation of the bunch is the Victory .uk/ Good honest pub with good beer and food and not too yachty.
