Original artwork description
The modern painting in the interior "Hagia Sophia of Constantinople" was drawn from life during my plein-air cycling trip around Turkey in the winter of 2021.
To see the Cathedral of St. Sophia of Constantinople was my old dream that came true this winter. I not only saw the cathedral outside and inside, but also painted it.
The majesty, power and beauty of the cathedral amazes even today, more than a thousand years after its creation, and I tried to convey with paints on paper all the love and awe from meeting this majestic temple.
The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
