In crafting this piece, I delved into realism to capture the tender interaction between the human touch and the delicate flower. The oil medium enhances the subtleties of light and shadow, embodying a moment frozen in time. The small, star-like flowers cradled in woman fingers are in harmony with a celestial backdrop with a subtle star pattern. Inspired by the artistry of Dutch painters from the 15th and 16th centuries, I chose a hand-crafted arched canvas to elevate the timeless elegance of the scene.
This artwork is made with oil on handmade linen canvas, coated with satin varnish for bright colors and clear permanent protection for years.
The sides of the canvas are painted so it is possible to hang the painting without a frame.
