Original artwork description
This is a remake of a stretching greyhound piece I created years ago, I just love the pose, strength and beauty of this wonderful hound. I'm really interested in abstract painting and how moods and energy can be portrayed with simple brush marks so I aimed to capture the power and movement in this painting.
I've named him 'Vitality' and he has been painted on a large stretched deep edge canvas measuring 31.4 inches square I've used a mixture of acrylic paints, pencils and crayons and sealed with gel and waxed so he has a soft sheen.
The edges have been painted and he is ready to hang.
This striking painting would make a stunning statement piece for any modern living area adding colour and personality.
