This is a work intuitively rendered and inspired by Robert Frost's poem: Nothing Gold Can Stay and it is the last one of a small series I did on paintings with poetry.

To paint this work I used artist quality acrylic colours as well as spray paint on a Daler Rowney stretched canvas.

In the detail shots you can see the different textures of the work.
The sides are painted in the colours of the painting so the process of the work can be seen.

I added a fixture at the back of the canvas so it is ready to hang without a frame.

In inches the work is 12 x 9 x 0.6

Materials used:

acryl, gouache, spraypaint,
