“Gratitude” explores one of the most subtle yet powerful human values — appreciation expressed without words.
Through monochrome hands, the painting captures a quiet moment of giving and receiving. One gesture reaches upward, open and attentive; another responds with gentle support. There is no face, no identity — only the language of touch. Stripped of color, the hands become universal, allowing the viewer to recognize their own experiences within the gesture.
The textured background suggests the invisible layers of memory and emotion that surround even the simplest acts of gratitude. What is offered here is not an object, but presence — acknowledgment, respect, and connection.
Part of the “Silent Values” series, this work reflects on human values conveyed through gesture alone. It invites the viewer to pause and reflect on gratitude as a quiet force — one that binds people together, often unnoticed, yet deeply felt.
