In creating this oil painting, I merged fine art with touches of impressionism and realism to capture the serene, untamed beauty of a lush garden at the peak of summer. The painting is a part of the series "My Motherland". Being in the suburbs around the village of "Ilyinka" at the beginning of autumn, he walked in search of motives. The vegetable garden with sunflowers and cabbage, a huge variety of green shades captivated him and gave the idea of the picture's name.
