View out to a vast Atlantic Ocean at San Agustin in Gran Canaria on a sunny February morning. It was just so great to feel the warmth of the sun after the dreary UK Winter, which I hope I have managed to capture in this painting. Gran Canaria is the perfect place to observe the strong contrast of dark rocks with golden sands against the backdrop of a silver green ocean
Heavily textured painting created in acrylic paints using a palette knife with silver reflective paints to help to capture the light.
Deep box canvas painted on the sides so no need to frame.
