Original artwork description
An acrylic study of a gondolier waiting for a customer in the heat of a Venice Summer. The painting is based on a photo I took a few years ago when visiting. (It was actually Easter but the weather was Summer Hot).
There he stood watching and waiting. I am not sure if he realised his photo was being taken - I think he did - he was probably used to all the tourists snapping away.
The painting is in bold acrylic colours and sits in a floating frame.
