Original artwork description:

"Goldfall and Amber Wood" is inspired by a peaceful woodland near my studio in the Peak District, a place that offers stillness, light, and quiet inspiration. The painting is bathed in warm tones of amber, copper, crimson red, and gold, capturing the serene beauty of an autumn forest and evoking a sense of optimism and calm.
Light filters gently through the trees, illuminating the forest with a soft, glowing presence. In the foreground, delicate textures created with a palette knife introduce an element of abstraction, inviting a deeper visual exploration. I’ve used optical mixing and colour principles inspired by the Impressionists to evoke the fleeting nature of light, resulting in a semi-abstract, contemporary landscape.

This is a one-of-a-kind original artwork, created with high-quality acrylics on a deep-edged canvas, ready to hang, no frame required. Built up in multiple impasto layers, the painting reveals glimpses of its earliest colours and textures, adding depth and richness to the final composition.
