I created this vertical abstract painting as a study of structure, contrast, and movement — where textured layers meet flowing lines and metallic light.

Working with acrylic on canvas, I built the composition through expressive palette knife work and layered brush strokes. Rich gold tones interact with deep black, warm brown, and soft white, creating a dynamic contrast between light and density.

The vertical format emphasizes movement downward, with elongated drips and textured transitions that give the painting a strong architectural presence. The gold areas catch the light, adding a subtle glow that changes depending on the environment and time of day.
