Original artwork description
A stormy, turbulent sky dominates the landscape. heavy clouds in charcoal, Gold and Greens, reveal a luminous burst of yellow suggesting a sunset breaking through threatening weather. The gold painted lines catch the eye like reflected light on water or the gilded edge of a dark cloud giving the piece an unexpected quality against the more muted earth tones. The starting idea for the work was to create an overall mood of wild and atmospheric golden bursts of wild nature.
