This painting was born from my plein air experience in Croatia, along the Adriatic coast. I was drawn to a peaceful summer evening, when the light gently dissolved into the horizon and the sea became almost perfectly still, наполнене відчуттям гармонії та позачасовості.

In the studio, I reimagined this moment, moving beyond direct observation to convey a more intimate, meditative mood. The sailboat appears as a quiet symbol of freedom and inner balance, drifting between presence and memory.
