Fragments of Summer.

Inspired by the fading beauty of my hydrangea garden, this highly textured abstract painting explores the delicate space between nature and memory.
Built through many layers and sculptural techniques, the surface evokes weathered stone, ancient reliefs, and botanical forms slowly revealed through time. Organic lines emerge and disappear, inviting the viewer to discover something new with every encounter.
The muted palette of soft mineral grays, warm earth tones, and aged ivory creates a sense of quiet sophistication, allowing texture and form to become the true subject of the work.
This piece was created slowly and intentionally. I wanted the process itself to leave visible traces—evidence of time, touch, and craftsmanship. The richly textured surface changes throughout the day as light moves across it, creating shifting shadows and unexpected details.
Displayed vertically or horizontally, the artwork offers a different experience from every angle. It is both contemporary and timeless, bold yet contemplative—a statement piece designed to spark conversation while bringing depth and serenity to a space.
