When I think of Ukrainian symbols, the first thing that comes to mind is the image of golden fields, wheat and ears of grain. In my work, they are a real wealth, pure and spiritual, but bloody. Bloody with the blood of war, because Ukrainian lands are now covered with it. But I believe that soon, through these lands, FREE Ukrainian lands, Ukrainian wheat - Ukrainian wealth - will sprout.
The painting is painted on coarse-grained canvas, with oil paints and oil pastels using acrylic black paint as an underpainting for the main composition.
The idea is a reflection on the war.
