Indie Ru is a two-time laureate of the International Exhibition & Competition of Contemporary Arts. She has exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art.
She runs a YouTube channel, Indie Ru, with 100K subscribers, where she shares the creative process behind her abstract works.

A sculptural black-and-gold painting centred around a luminous circular form. Rich metallic texture catches the light across the gold ring, while raised 3D butterflies lift from the surface and scatter beyond its edges.
The contrast between the deep black background and reflective gold creates movement, depth and a strong sense of transformation. As the lighting changes, the textured relief moves between subtle shadows and brilliant metallic highlights, giving the artwork a different presence throughout the day.
A dramatic statement piece for a contemporary interior, combining abstract composition with tactile, sculptural details.
