While visiting Massachusetts and Maine in 2019, I was delighted to get a lot of boat photos. I especially like fishing boats and find them so interesting. I have made several paintings over the last few months from the area. I have studied the work of Emile Gruppe and with his inspiration I painted this work.
As you look at the painting perhaps you can smell the salty air and hear some seagulls squawking.
I have framed the work in a beautiful dark frame with warm undertones and a gold fillet.
