Artwork description:

SLIABH
(Scots Gaelic for a large mass of rock and earth) - Abstract landscapes.
Abstraction in the landscape and environment has always interested me. The “inner world” the image produced in the mind merged with the outer world and has always had a more evocative and lasting impression on me.
We do not experience the world with our eyes only. We understand the world with all our senses and we experience it through our recollections of our past, through our expectations for the future and also how we feel at that moment.
All these images were made in and around Glen Coe and Rannoch Moor Scotland.
